What’s Happening

February 2026: Service League gifted $25,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The funds came solely from our September, 2025 auction where we raised $55,000. Thanks to generous supporters during our “big ask,” Sleep in Heavenly peace was able to purchase lumber for 500 beds.

May, 2026: Service League attended the Humans of Oshkosh event highlighting the Winnebago Literacy Council and their work to help refugees assimilate to our community. We donated books in many different languages for refugee children to enjoy while their parents take classes with the WALC.

May, 2026: 40 kids got a fresh cut for the end of school year. Thanks to the ladies of Alpha Barbershop for helping these kids gain confidence and take a financial burden away for 40 moms.

June, 2026: We conducted an etiquette class for 60 girls at The Boys and Girls Club. The girls (aged 7-11) will attend the annual tea party in July, 2026. We taught the girls about what etiquette means and how to properly eat a meal and converse at a formal event.
